How to Remove Pages from PDF

Deleting unwanted pages β€” blank scanner inserts, duplicate covers, or pages that were never meant to leave the office β€” is a selection job rather than an editing job. Your original file is never modified.

Step by Step

  1. Open the Remove Pages tool and select your PDF.
  2. Scan the thumbnail grid for the pages you want gone, including hidden blanks near the end.
  3. Click each unwanted page to select it; select as many as you need in one pass.
  4. Review the selection count before applying β€” a miscount here only moves the problem.
  5. Apply the removal and check the new page count.
  6. Flip through the result to make sure nothing important was caught in the selection.
  7. Download the cleaned document.

Tips

  • Deselect everything and reselect if you lose track; the original file stays untouched either way.
  • Remove pages before merging β€” it is easier to trim each source than the combined document.
