How to Extract Pages from PDF
Extracting saves selected pages as a brand-new PDF while leaving the original untouched — ideal when one chapter, one signed page, or one form needs to travel on its own.
Step by Step
- Open the Extract Pages tool and load the source document.
- Locate the pages you need in the thumbnail preview.
- Select them in the order you want them to appear in the new file.
- Confirm the selection — non-consecutive pages are fine and keep their original relative order.
- Run the extraction to build the new document.
- Open the result and verify the page count and order.
- Download it and name the file something the recipient will recognize.
Tips
- Extraction does not re-encode pages, so the new file keeps the original quality.
- Extract first, then remove: to both pull pages out and slim the original, do the extraction before the deletion.
